Minimal Urbanism, Osdorp Amsterdam competition 2002 |
![]() |
This project commissioned by Bouwbedrijf Amsterdam re-evaluates already present potentials in the 'De Punt'. This is a postwar residential neighborhood with abundant public space. Currently this oversized public space is lacking quality and is obscured by jungle like vegetation. With minimal, sometimes poetic, interventions using vegetation, water and color differences are enhanced. By using strategically positioned elements, such as re-used wooden planks, new continuities are created. |
